Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Other Trauma

PTSD TreatmentPost-Traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental health diagnosis that is found in people who experiences or witnesses a highly traumatic event. While it is commonly associated with those returning from military service, any brief moment or extended experience of extreme physical danger to oneself or a loved one can bring on associated symptoms of PTSD and trauma related illness.

Dr. Memon is highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He did much of his adult residency training at Hampton Veterans Affair Medical Center, treating Marines soldiers returning from front lines combat.
